We are going to discuss the difference between quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC). When we talk about different products, an important thing that is asked is its quality. If there are two products, made from the same procedures but are from different materials, the unique one is that which is of good quality. The developed countries do not compromise upon quality. Every material is made through different steps. In the end or during its manufacture, different methods are used to check its quality. For this purpose, there are two types i.e. Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) are used. QA is the method of checking the quality of the product during its manufacture and QC is the way of detecting that if any error occurred in its production. So, have a look at some important points about QA and QC given below.
Quality Assurance (QA)
Table Contents
It is the way to prevent the quality of material during its development. Its main focus is to improve the quality of its manufacture. This results in the production of a better product which is long-lasting. The companies try to eliminate every error during the development so that after it is manufactured, it will be error-free. So every company wants to hire those employees, who focus on the product and after every step, they measure its quality and don’t show negligence at any point. It is a low time-consuming method.
Quality Control (QC)
It is another term in which, the defect in the material is detected. Different tests are used to check it so that, no problem will be left anymore. If there is some error in the quality of the product, then that product is sent back to the same processes where different techniques are used to eliminate that error and improve its quality. However, different companies have some other rules. When such a product is formed, the company categories it with a low-quality product. It also decreases the price of that product. It is a more time-consuming process because it is a difficult task to detect the problem in the product which is made.
