    Advocate General:

    An Advocate General is a senior officer of the law and is a constitutional post. It is the legal advisor of the government of Pakistan. The major objective of an Advocate General is to defend and protect the interest of the provincial government. A person who is qualified to appoint as Judge of the High Court is appointed as the Advocate General of the Province. The office of Advocate General is directly connected with the High Court of the Province. The Advocate General is also called the Principal Law officer of the Province.
